Meaning of the Holistic Healing and Hypnotherapy Logo

I was inspired to write this blog as a resource for those who may struggle to understand or embrace the concept of Egyptian Energy Healing and Hypnotherapy. It is also intended for individuals from various religious backgrounds who might view symbols like the Eye of Horus and the Pyramid as evil or satanic, helping to provide clarity and bridge the gap between ancient practices and modern spiritual perspectives.

As with anything we do, judgment is inevitable, and often it comes from others without much thought. I’ve had a few people reach out, ridiculing my use of the Eye of Horus and the Egyptian Pyramid in my logo, labelling these symbols as evil or satanic, even questioning my beliefs and reminding me that Jesus loves and wants me.

While I deeply value and respect my Christian faith, I won’t let it restrict my appreciation for the wonder and mystery of hands-on healing—a practice that has existed and endured for millennia. Healing transcends religious boundaries, drawing on the timeless belief in the power of restoration and transformation, as demonstrated throughout ancient and modern history.

My services are offered to all, regardless of religious background or belief system, as I firmly believe that healing is a universal gift meant to benefit everyone. It is not bound by any single tradition but instead embraces the shared human journey toward balance, wholeness, and well-being.

A Universal Perspective

When I designed my logo, I put a great deal of thought and intention into it. I aimed to create a unified symbol that represents transformation, enlightenment, and protection—concepts that resonate universally, values that connect us all, regardless of background, religion, or belief system. These are essential qualities that we all seek, need and hold dear in our lives.

The Eye of Horus:

An ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, healing, and divine vision, the Eye of Horus embodies the balance between physical and spiritual worlds. Often referred to as the "all-seeing eye," it reminds us of our innate ability to see beyond illusion and access higher wisdom. It also symbolizes the restoration of wholeness reflecting the soul’s capacity for healing and integration.

The Great Pyramid:

A timeless emblem of ascension, strength, and cosmic alignment, the Great Pyramid of Giza embodies the journey of spiritual evolution. Its geometric precision and alignment with celestial bodies remind us of the harmony between the human experience and the greater universe. The pyramid is also a metaphor for the path of self-mastery, where the soul rises from the earthly plane (the base) toward divine realization at the apex.

The Lotus Flower:

A universal symbol of purity, rebirth, and enlightenment, the lotus emerges from muddy waters to bloom with untouched beauty. This mirrors the human soul’s journey through challenges and darkness, blossoming into light and wisdom. Its daily cycle of opening and closing with the sun also signifies spiritual renewal and infinite potential.

The Unified Meaning tells a story of spiritual awakening and empowerment. The Eye of Horus offers protection and guidance, encouraging and fostering awareness and balance on your journey. The Great Pyramid grounds you in strength, inspiring you to rise toward higher states of consciousness. The Lotus Flower symbolizes the beauty that can blossom from life’s challenges, reflecting the soul’s transformation and rebirth.

This powerful combination reflects the cyclical journey of life: healing, growth, and transcendence. It invites us to trust in our inner wisdom, embrace the process of transformation, and align with the universal energies that connect us all.

A Christian Perspective

For those coming from a Christian background and wondering whether this aligns with your beliefs, I’ve included an overview from a Christian perspective. I understand you may have concerns, but I encourage you to consider what resonates with you. If you feel called to explore further or need my services, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Symbols like the Eye of Horus, the Great Pyramid, and the Lotus Flower can be interpreted in a Christian context as reflections of spiritual truths found in God’s creation, each pointing toward His sovereignty, the journey of faith, and the promise of renewal and eternal life.

The Eye of Horus:

From a Christian perspective, the Eye of Horus can symbolize God's all-seeing, protective presence in our lives. Scripture often speaks of God’s omniscience and His watchful care, as in Psalm 121:4-5, where it says, "He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you." Like the Eye of Horus, it reflects the divine ability to guide and protect, bringing healing and restoration to those who seek Him. It reminds Christians of the importance of keeping their eyes fixed on God, the ultimate source of wisdom and truth.

The Great Pyramid:

The pyramid, as a symbol of strength and ascension, resonates with the Christian journey of faith. Its shape can represent the striving of believers to ascend toward God, with Christ as the cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20). Just as the Great Pyramid is perfectly aligned with the heavens, so too are Christians called to align their lives with the will of God, trusting in His divine order and plan. It also serves as a reminder of the eternal kingdom being built by God, a "spiritual house" where believers are "living stones" (1 Peter 2:5).

The Lotus Flower:

In Christian symbolism, the lotus flower’s cycle of rising from muddy waters to bloom in purity parallels the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the believer’s spiritual rebirth through Him. Just as the lotus emerges unstained from its environment, Christians are called to rise above sin and be transformed into new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). The daily blooming of the lotus mirrors the mercies of God that are “new every morning” (Lamentations 3:23) and the promise of ongoing renewal through Christ.

The Unified meaning symbolizes and form a beautiful reflection of the Christian path of faith. The Eye of Horus reflects God's watchful presence and the call to live in spiritual awareness, always guided by His wisdom and love. The Great Pyramid represents the steady ascent toward holiness and the eternal kingdom of God, rooted in Christ as the foundation. The Lotus Flower serves as a reminder of the transformative power of Christ’s resurrection and the renewal available to all who follow Him. From an enlightened point of view.

These symbols, when viewed through the lens of Christian faith, point to a God who is present, sovereign, and loving. They invite believers to trust in His protection, align their lives with His eternal plan, and embrace the transformative hope found in Jesus Christ.
