My story began with a period of unexplained illness. After numerous medical visits and tests everything came back perfectly. I started feeling like a hypochondriac, experiencing illness where there was no medical explanation for it. I knew that there was more to this. Something was wrong and I was at my wits end with the inconclusive tests which produced no results.

As time went on, and I became more confused about my situation, I received an email giving my directions to a Reiki training session I’ve booked. I didn’t know what Reiki was and could not recall booking this training session. I googled what reiki was and decided to attend as I’ve unknowingly paid for it and there was no refund available.

From that initial spiritual intervention, my journey began. At the time I didn’t realise that I was going through spiritual awakening. It wasn’t easy sailing as being an analytical thinker I believed that everything needed to make sense and needed to be measured. At the start of this journey, I continually and constantly asked “why” and questioned the process. I remembered getting to the venue which was eerie and located in the middle of nowhere. The building was an old Raaf building with high ceilings and the airflow felt a bit stagnant.

In that initial reiki session, I prayed a lot and felt energies which I could not explain, at first, I was afraid of the unknown and couldn’t believe what I actually “knew” without actually “knowing”. Growing up going to church I’ve always been fascinated by the hands-on healing process, as a little girl I always prayed that I could be able to do that, to heal others in need of healing, by just laying my hands on them.

Here I am later in life doing just that. Once I made the decision to have faith in a higher power, trust the process and stopped all the questioning trying to make sense of it all, everything started falling in place. Early on I learned that it doesn’t serve me working from ego as this is a gift bestowed unto me. Just as suddenly as it came my phantom illness mysteriously disappeared.

Through hands on healing sessions for clients, their feedback on their experiences left me curious. It was great that they are experiencing the full effect from the healings with great results. This made me curious; I wanted to experience and feel what they felt.

This led me to Adelaide where I met my mentor, Elizabeth Jensen. I studied Auset Temple Healing and everything associated with the ancient Egyptian Mystery Schools. I learned so much which provided me with the tools to safely navigate through healing sessions and also provided me the opportunity to experience what my clients experienced, under Elisabeth’s skillful spiritually guided hands.

Through many years of study and applying what I have learned in practice I learned that in order to heal your life you need to take charge and be in charge by steering your life where you want it to lead. The power lies in your hands and through skillful guidance you are empowered to make changes to heal and maintain a happier and healthier life.

Egyptian Energy healing and hypnotherapy became a large part of my life. Allowing me, the healer, to be healed facilitated a genuine understanding and gratitude in me to help heal others.

I have completed more study to aid in a holistic approach and hold a Masters in Holistic Counselling and Diploma in Hypnotherapy through IMDHA. I have been on this journey over eight years, and it has been the best and most rewarding experience for me and my clients.
